Plan my evenings ahead - book in AA meetings, social activities with family. Fill in month planner so I'm not by myself on a Saturday.

Continue working through the mindfulness exercises and use the mantra "it's just a thought but not the truth". Also using the phone to talk to someone rather than just worrying.

If this happens jump up and do something active. Pop on my headphones and go for a walk, go for a bike ride. Read AA literature or ring sponsor.
